Lovely little bit of history for the town. It's a little cramped throughout, but that's kind of expected considering how old the grotto is. A nice assortment of souvenirs in the shop and a friendly welcome from staff upon entering. No complaints, but do be aware - there isn't disabled access - there are steps and steep slopes into the grotto itself. It could be difficult for those requiring mobility aids.

Something different. A bit too small but for £8 for a family ticket you can't even complain even if we drove two hours to get there. We enjoyed the town and had a great time. Excellent service. Great things in the shop at fair prices. Probably not worth going second time but definitely worth seeing it.

A few pounds entry free gets you access down the tunnel to the amazing shell lined walls depicting a variety of gods, star signs etc

A weird and wonderful almost cult like place that no one really has an answer to. Tucked up a small side street you enter through a little shop front to a wonderful array of shells and jewellery alongside fossils and other knick knacks.

A bizarre but enthralling place that has an unusual air to it as no one knows when, how or why it was constructed.

Backpacks can be voluntarily deposited at the counter for temporary safekeeping to avoid accidental damage to the artefacts

Please control yourselves and your children in helping preserve this place, despite the ample opportunities to do so - 尤其是你! 请尽全力抑制自己或同伴做出有损国人形象的蠢事

Fantastic place to visit for a short while. Lots of history relating to it and a great little cafe and shell shop as well

A nice hidden gem (pun intended), fragile and exposed.
